Our Pastor

Rev. Damion Hutchins, Interim Pastor

Rev. Damion S. Hutchins is a caring pastor, educator, and community servant who leads with compassion, wisdom, and a deep love for people. Ordained at Pilgrim Baptist Church in 2012, he is rooted in the Black church tradition and committed to ministry that is faithful, inclusive, and people-centered.

​

He earned his Master of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta and previously served as Senior Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Toccoa, Georgia, bringing both theological training and lived pastoral experience to his ministry. Rev. Hutchins has also served as a chaplain in hospital and community settings and is a U.S. Air Force veteran and certified Georgia educator.

Rev. Hutchins lives in Gwinnett County with his wife, Williemae, and is a proud father to his daughters, Jada and Elyse.

​
